In our Erasmus teacher training course participants learn how to recognize the specifics of students with SEN, gifted students as well as students with disabilities. Following this, according to their needs, educators plan teaching and learning strategies. The emphasis is on students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, auditory processing disorder/visual motor deficit, ADHD and identifying the causes of their difficulty in mastering school materials and the necessary adjustments.

Course Description
Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of individual students
Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with special educational needs (SEN) is a challenge that every educator must face. This Erasmus+ KA1 course is designed to help teachers understand the specific needs of students, including those with disabilities, gifted students, and those with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, and auditory processing disorder. Participants will learn how to identify these needs and tailor their teaching strategies accordingly. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the causes of learning difficulties and developing adjustments to ensure these students can successfully engage with the curriculum.
Implement digital technologies in special needs education
Advances in digital technology have opened new doors for students with special needs, and teachers can now leverage these tools to support their learning. In this course, educators will explore how to use digital tools specifically designed for students with SEN. They will learn how to identify potential barriers to the use of these technologies and select the best tools for their students’ needs. By incorporating ICT into their teaching, educators can create more accessible and effective learning experiences, enhancing engagement and promoting the success of all students, regardless of their challenges.
