Course Description
Understanding Sustainability and Climate Change
Throughout the course, participants will be introduced to key concepts related to sustainability and climate change. The sessions will cover topics such as renewable energy, ecological footprints, and sustainable development. Interactive activities like video discussions, brainstorming sessions, and the GoGoals SDG board game will help participants grasp the importance of these issues and how they can be taught in a classroom setting.
Field Trips and Experiential Learning
Creative Approaches to Environmental Education
In addition to field trips, the course offers creative workshops such as Eco Art, where participants will learn how to recycle, reuse, and reimagine materials in an artistic way. These
activities will not only promote creativity but also encourage critical thinking about sustainability and environmental protection.
The course will conclude with workshops focused on making schools more eco-friendly and
sustainable. Participants will also engage in a reflective evaluation session to consolidate their learning. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate recognizing their efforts and commitment to reducing the impact of climate change through education.
